Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury will teach Anthony Joshua a heavyweight lesson if he returns to full fitness.
That’s the sensational view of boxing expert Gareth A Davies, as talk of a mouth-watering fight between the British pair ramps up.
Frank Bruno EXCLUSIVE – ‘Boxing needs Tyson Fury back’
Fury has not fought since defeating Wladimir Klitschko to become heavyweight champion of the world two years ago but is preparing to return to the ring in 2018 and has called on Joshua to face him in the ‘biggest fight in British boxing history’.
Joshua has become a superstar of the sport in Fury’s absence, capturing the IBF, IBO and WBA belts and extending his professional win record to 20 fights.
But Fury is an experienced, clever operator who also boasts an unbeaten record – and he is being tipped to end his British rival’s reign and regain his titles if they meet in the ring.
“I do think that a very fit Tyson Fury would outbox Anthony Joshua nine times out of ten. No question, absolutely no question at all in my mind,” said Gareth A Davies, the talkSPORT presenter and Daily Telegraph boxing correspondent.
“He would do exactly what he did to Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 in Dusseldorf. He would paw at him with his long jab. It might not look good, but he would frustrate and befuddle and mess with Anthony Joshua.
“If he’s physically fit, he really wants it and he’s mentally ready… a totally fit Tyson Fury who is totally motivated would completely outbox Anthony Joshua right now – the Joshua that I’m looking at.”
